Just in: Unfortunately, there will not be a Golden Island Race this year. Scheduling turned out difficult the day after St. Maxime.
Here is the statement from Alexandre:
“The EUROPA SUP – “GOLDEN ISLANDS RACE” IS CANCELLED FOR THIS YEAR AT HYÈRES 2012. WE PROMISE TO MAKE THE EFFORT TO OFFER YOU A GREAT EVENT IN 2013, SUP AND MANY OTHER WATERSPORTS: Canoes, paddles, kayaking, swimming, SHOWS, SHOWS, LONG DISTANCE and Prize Money.
DATES WILL BE FILED AS SOON September 2012.”
Very sorry to hear that, it was a great 2011 and we are looking forward to 2013.
