After the huge success of last year, this year the most important SUP event in Italy will be held in Bergeggi in Liguria. UPDATE: Results are here
Frederick sup Piccinaglia has ensured that sponsors across Europe surpass themselves this time.
More than 7000 EUR of prize money has been secured. € 2000 cash for the pros on the 7km long distance race which is valid for the European rankings , 2000 € in prizes for the 3.5km Race, each winner's Open category,
There will also be an American Electra cruiser bike and a Manhattan up for grabs!
For all competitors there are also over 2000 € prizes in a lottery, the number of their race number will work as draw number (a race Naish 2011, a full carbon paddle Kialoa, Ogio backpacks, 2 pairs of Oakley sunglasses, a trip Corsica Ferries transport including machine, grip and FCS leash for SUP, Poncho, Flojos flip flops, and many other awards along the way…)
You can also test and enjoy the best products of the best companies in the world in the SUP expo in (NAISH & KIALOA , STARBOARD, JIMMY LEWIS & QUIKBLADE, Surftech, PADDLE SURF HAWAII, RRD, Nidecker, NAH SWELL, Southpoint, MOKI, WALDEN, Mc Tavish, and WAVE TO RED PADDLE sup Inflatable) set on the main beach of Bergeggi, with the possibility to test many products. To finish the afternoon will be devoted to school free support, tests and courses for children
Of course all the proceeds will be donated to charity at the "The Beech" in Savona.

EVENT SCHEDULE (Sunday)
- 7:30 to 9:30 event registration
- 9.30 – 10 per event briefing and open
- 10 -10.30 pro race start (7km) and open race (3.5 km)
- 13-13.30 awards ceremony and open pro, lottery event
- 14 -18 stand up paddle expo, demo boards and paddles, support free lessons (1 hour for young kids)

Camping Krakatoa is located on the highway n.1 Aurelia, and is easily reachable coming out of the tollgate Savona-Vado goig through the highway in the way of Ventimiglia
