Paddle Around the Pier Brighton, July 2nd&3rd, 2011, UK

Europe's biggest free beach and watersports festival is back for another year of fun and raising money for charities and will also feature a SUP Race.

Brighton Paddle around the Pier SUP Race

The event  will be held on Hove Lawns and the nearby beach area on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July. Last year saw over 30,000 people attend across the weekend and over £30,000 raised for the RNLI (helping with the build of the new Shoreham lifeboat station), Whoopsadaisy and SurfAid International.

This year’s designated charities are The RNLI, Teenage Cancer Trust and Surf relief. The event, which is now Europe’s largest free watersports festival, is run entirely by volunteers and not-for-profit.

Unfortunately, the long distance enduro Race has been cancelled, but there will still be a 5 Mile SUP Race
